Krista Barrett has worked as a writer for fourteen years. Her work has seen its way into a variety of newsletters, magazines and online sites, covering such topics as health and wellness and the art of writing. Krista has also written a number of short stories, poetry, and fiction novels of the inspirational romance/drama genre, with many more to come. She is the owner of three writer-resource sites; Writer Gazette, Writers Manual, and EbooksCafe. She is the Art Director and Dept Editor for ISSUES Magazine.

She is the running force behind "Final Thoughts", a compilation of personal testimonies that answer the question "what would you do if you knew that today was your last day on Earth". You can get involved in this project. She also does web design on a contract basis.

Krista Barrett has also launched the "Inside Writer's Guide To..." book series for writers. The first book of the series is an indepth workbook entitled "Discovering the Writer Within" and is designed for both beginner and professional writers. Future books are already in the works. Krista resides in Canada with her husband, two children, and three fish who have decided to live forever.
